Jorja accompanied P-J to the farm bright and early this morning - leaving Ethan and me to keep busy until they returned: hungry, dirty and tired, at noon. I'm told that Jorja couldn't even be bribed with On Demand TV programming or the Kindle games - she was determined to do some farm chores with Dad.
After refuelling, we moved the party next door where we continued the clearing out of the Apartment. P-J looked quite energised for someone who'd been up and at it since early in the day!

When the kids took a nap later, I prepared some jelly for them to enjoy in this heat, and tried my hand at Malva Pudding for the first time. I'll be the first to brag that P-J's my biggest cheerleader - but even he had his doubts, he confessed! Fortunately, it all went down well - the proof is in the pudding they say! And what a pleasure to use a Kitchen Aid for the first time.

No leftovers tonight! |
After dinner, I walked around the house cleaning purple-coloured Magic Marker 'autographs' from walls and floors...and piano keyboards! By the time I'd finished cleaning the piano, I think the neighbour was very relieved to hear it!
