My first sight of P-J on the farm this morning, was him speeding down a hill in the 4-wheeler, catching a calf. Let me just say that I never realised before today how fast calves could run...And I didn't realise that some cowboys rode 4-wheelers...And I'm very grateful that he didn't fly off the vehicle and land in the poop because that laundry load would've been a challenge! Donna's cow Mom should be proud.
Jorja had been up since 5.30am, waiting to go to the farm. I guess after watching that exciting showcase, she was exhausted! After lunch, she and Ethan enjoyed a good nap - escaping some Summer heat for at least 2 hours.
Today was Sunrise Farm collection day and P-J grabbed as much as he could - broccoli, beets, summer squash, cucumber and lots of fresh herbs too.
That would look like this after slow roasting...
And be enjoyed like this!!
