Change is as good as a holiday

"Change is as good as a holiday", they say. And too true! While the Klaasen's set off for their long-awaited, much anticipated Great Brit holiday, I'll freshen up our blog space and oddly, we'll both feel good about it. Okay, okay...I would haggle with a few things in exchange for an overseas trip! We are so excited to be cheering from the sidelines as they head off today. God speed! There's quite a bit of change waiting in the wings. I officially finished my contract at the Cycle Tour office (although while writing this, I'm at the office, working!) and after this week...My daily routine will change. Jorja is also looking ready for some change. She seems to be outgrowing her cot fast and furiously - even happy to sleep on the couch from 4am, if Mommy will lift her out to get there. So it looks as though we'll be 'big-girl-bed-shopping' after this long weekend of Public holidays. Due to the uniquely-timed church services over Easter weekend, P-

Pumps to ponder on...

Let's look at the shoes below: The Snakeskin print slipper - Designed to look like something that it is not. The Croc - A comfortable fit. Now think of this shoe shop in terms of your salvation: Let's say that this ballet slipper - the only shoe to wear when doing ballet danc

The 1 April ( Happy Birthday to me ) marked my first day of holiday! In true holiday fashion, my husband had arranged for me to sleep away from home, and so - bless his heart - Operation Organisation was put on ice for the weekend. The following Monday (after an entire weekend of birthday bliss) I dressed the part, dropped Jorja at daycare, stopped in at Access Park for some factory deals - and was bitterly disappointed, heard that my tennis appointment was cancelled, head home and...it was time to fetch Jorja again! By the end of that day, I had also agreed to go back to the office (???) to fill in for someone who was on leave for two days! So on Thursday, without too much pre-planning for fear of a jinx, I slowly reached up to the top shelf of the mass of stuff in the backroom (all those bolded word
