It was not a public holiday in Argentina today. P-J left for work and Jorja and I tried to settle back into our routine sans Dad. I decided that we would either travel up through the San Telmo hills or down towards the Madero harbour. When P-J arrived home early, we set out and did a round trip - down the cobble-stone paths, passed the cafe's, schools and small businesses, across the Main Road and then down the modernized walkways passing the driving range, casino (on a boat) and park.
When we returned home, we spooned our Easter lunch leftovers into pie pastry and baked them off for dinner!
We also celebrated Jorja reaching her 10 month mark, today. When I find some batteries to replace the old ones in the bathroom scale, I'll weigh her in! What we can say off hand is: She's taller than the lounge furniture, she has 4 (big) teeth, she took 3 (small) steps unaided yesterday! P-J calls her his 'cheeky puppy' - she is mischievous, playful and bites! Our Jorja is such a precious gift...
