It was P-J's first day at work today, since we arrived. He left quite early and Jorja and I spent the morning doing everyday things...
...By lunch time, we definitely needed to get some fresh air and we met P-J halfway on his walk back home. After lunch, we took a walk in the opposite direction into the greater San Telmo suburb. The streets were a lot busier as locals made their way home from work - but the markets were still bustling with tourists.
With Jorja eating normal food for lunch and supper, we are being exposed to the local meats, fruits and vegetables. Chicken portions, carrots, peaches and bananas are huge in size, compared to SA's produce. They have interestingly shaped pasta wheels and the texture is similar to what we know as risotto and the local tea is called mate - a leafy mix with a specialized cup and all.
