Our first steps beyond our front door, took us to the 14th floor. We found the communal braai place (Asado - pronounced 'Asaa-thor') and swimming pool. Yay!
Check out the skyline...(Charles lives in the tall building that's third from the left).
Once we'd familiarized ourselves with the building, we headed outside of the perimeter walls...
Our first stop was at a local antique store (Remates La Maya - Antiguedades Muebles y Objetos) offering beautiful pieces up for auction.
Then as we weaved through the streets of San Telmo we came across a number of fruit and veg markets, cafe's and churches. The local Super Eki was where we found some lunch and then made our way back home.
Once at home, Jorja watched the buses pass from the kitchen window. She's beginning to stand confidently and we are encouraging her to discover these new found skills, although it requires round-the-clock supervision and more than doubles the contents of the laundry basket!
