I was beginning to wonder if our wall clock with built-in thermometer only ever showed one temperature reading! So we were chuffed to see that it read a warm(er) 23C and just before noon we head out for the afternoon. Ag shame, the bright sun seemed to bother Jorja until we changed direction, but otherwise she handled the 4 hour stint like a champ!
We passed Teatro Citi (The former Opera Theatre of Buenos Aires), where the major productions are staged.
We walked through a couple of indoor flea markets and found them to be pretty impressive. On one occasion though, a lady tried to sell us socks with 2 pre-chosen pairs and packaging in hand! I guess we should give her 10 points for enthusiasm!
Outside La Casa Rosada, there was a Greenpeace Protest. Seems the city is removing the recycling bins on the roads - and they had a lot to say about it...
And on our way back home, we passed a celebration in the road. I've tried to find out which football team the group supported, but couldn't find anything online. They were very happy though - drumming, jumping and singing!
