What is better than a long weekend that's already printed on your calendar? ... Well, one that's unexpected is pretty great!
P-J had the day off today, giving us another whole day to walk around the city together. As explained in a previous post, work week days in the city are a lot more congested than on the weekends, so it was a slow journey through the streets. Fortunately we had opted for the ABC instead of the pram with Jorja, but after 2 hours on the trot, it can get heavy!
We were back home by 15h00, when the clouds were looking particularly dark and heavy. We haven't experienced any rain today, but we were relieved to make it home in one piece. In just over 7 weeks in Buenos Aires, we have only really missed our car (and said it out loud) thrice!
The only down side to a long weekend, as many of you back home have a lot of experience with, is when the work day eventually rolls around... Let's hope we can make the 'transition' smoothly tomorrow - but it was good while it lasted!
