Just in case you were wondering, Dear Husband is still serving up dee-li-cious meals for all the hungry mouths and yes, he isn't the least bit deterred by the colder weather.
We took our chances with the break in the stormy weather on Sunday and head out to the Tanger Outlets in Tilton. The kids have a way to go in learning the value of money, because they didn't take kindly to us laughing them off when they exclaimed, "But it's only $40!" or our selective hearing as they built their wish lists ... When you find a $3 t-shirt or a $1 game...now that's what I subscribe to!
A quiet moment at Story Hour this week, as the kids read about Owls and listened to their different calls. The patient Librarian, Ms Nadine, must by wondering if she did the right thing by encouraging Baby to engage in the conversation - because Baby has a comment for every page these days!
And then we have these moments, when a little bit of kiddie cartoon or music goes a loooooo-ooooong way for peace in the home!
A very, very special surprise this week was when Pa returned from South Africa, bringing with him some mail, sweets, colour hair ties...and mielie meel!
Love the mustache!
